Job Summary:
Role: AI/NLP Engineer

Location: Singapore
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI/NLP Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying models that extract insights and meaning from unstructured text data to solve real-world problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on NLP.
- Proficiency in Python and ML/NLP libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK.
- Experience with deploying NLP models in production environments (REST APIs, cloud platforms, Docker, etc.).
- Solid understanding of NLP concepts such as tokenization, embeddings, attention mechanisms, and transformers.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop NLP models for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, summarization, and question answering.
- Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa, GPT) for domain-specific applications.
- Build and optimize ML pipelines to support scalable training, validation, and deployment of NLP solutions.
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate NLP capabilities into applications.
- Conduct research to stay current on emerging NLP techniques and technologies.
- Perform data preprocessing, text cleaning, and exploratory data analysis on large-scale datasets.
- Document technical processes, model performance, and deliverables.
