About the role
As an Electrical Engineering Assistant cum Drafter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team at Megawatts Engineering Services Pte Ltd, a leading provider of electrical engineering services. Based in the Pioneer Sector West Region, this full-time position will involve a range of responsibilities, from assisting with electrical design and drafting to providing technical support to the wider engineering function.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the design and development of electrical systems and components
Preparing detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software
Coordinating with project managers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects
Conducting site surveys and investigations to gather data for electrical system design
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the engineering team
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to electrical projects
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, codes, and best practices
What we're looking for
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for drafting and design
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team
Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Relevant experience in the electrical engineering industry is preferred
