Interim Content Operations Manager (Singapore)Dow Jones is looking for an Interim Content Operations Manager to join our Content team in Singapore, responsible for onboarding, ingesting and managing content within Factiva products and services. The group ensures accurate delivery of content and distribution/sharing of information about our content to customers, publishers and B2B colleagues. As Interim Manager of the team, you will ensure a smooth passage of content from publishers to Factiva products according to established standards of timeliness and completeness. You will inspire innovation, ensure editorial and operational best practices, manage workload distribution and delivery, and develop relationships across all leadership levels. You will report to the Director, Content. You Will Lead and coach a team of experienced Specialists to develop their full potential Oversee daily priority and standard operational tasks to ensure they are carried out with care and attention Operate as an individual contributor to accomplish set goals, while guiding the toward its objectives Foster automation to maximize our resources and reduce manual work Work with your counterparts in the other two regions to ensure best practices are well-known and followed globally and also revisited, as needed Handle multiple high priority and sensitive tasks and work in collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure task completion You Have Fluency in English and other Asian languages such as Chinese or Japanese Experience working in business organizations and communicating with diverse and global stakeholder groups Strong conceptual skills Ability to evaluate issues and conflicts and make timely decisions that benefit both the customer and the business Capability to support and convey change An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity Preferred Degree and relevant work experience Prior experience managing a team Familiarity with/basic understanding of data formats such as XML, HTML, NewsML Additional language skills Our Benefits Comprehensive Insurance Plans Retirement Plans Employee Referral Program Subscription Discounts Fitness Reimbursement Program Paid Time Off Region Specific Benefits, as applicable (1) Factiva is a professional research database, providing access to aggregated global news and business information from approximately 33,000 sources in 33 languages from over 200 countries and territories.
