Home-Based Childcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide high-quality care for infants in our program. As a Home-Based Childcare Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of each infant under your supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent nurturing skills, be able to create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development, and maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's daily activities, feeding, and sleeping routines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care in a home-based setting, creating a warm and welcoming environment for each infant.
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment , promoting physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development through engaging activities and age-appropriate toys.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations , including proper hygiene practices and safe sleep guidelines, to ensure the well-being of each infant.
  • Engage infants in sensory exploration , language development, and motor skills through interactive activities and play.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's daily activities, feeding, and sleeping routines, keeping them informed and involved in their child's care.

Requirements:

  • Medically fit to care for 1 to 3 infants/children aged 2 months to 18 months.
  • Preferably with experience in caring for children, demonstrating a track record of providing high-quality care and support.
  • Has a child-safe environment , with measures such as window grilles or window limiters in place to ensure the infant's safety.
  • Min 'O' level or secondary school qualifications , indicating a basic level of education and understanding of childcare principles.
  • Those with infant care certification are highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
