We are seeking an IT Ops and Incident Manager to lead our operations team and ensure the effective management of incidents within our IT environment.
A brief summary of your job responsibility:
Oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services
Coordinate with various teams to efficiently manage incidents and ensure effective communication throughout the incident lifecycle
Define and implement operational standards, best practices, and procedures for incident management
Conduct post-incident reviews to improve processes and prevent recurrence of incidents
Monitor system performance and availability, taking proactive measures to mitigate potential issues
Lead IT operations activities, ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with internal and external standards
Work with senior management to report on incident trends, service performance, and improvement initiatives
Provide leadership and mentorship to the ops and incident management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations and incident management roles
Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and certification, preferably ITIL v3 or v4
Experience with incident management tools and IT service management software
Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced IT environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security principles, and operational risk management
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
