About the Team:
At Aspire, Finance plays a strategic role in driving our business forward. Our Finance team consists of a wide range of crucial functions across 5 verticals: (i) Financial Controlling, (ii) Treasury, (iii) Data, (iv) Strategy & Planning, and (v) Credit Risk. The Finance team engages in frequent strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide the best financial insights for critical business decisions, helping Aspire navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
About the Role
Daily Account Funding:
Manage daily cash positioning and ensure sufficient funds are available in all required accounts to meet operational needs. This includes forecasting short-term cash flows and initiating fund transfers.
Intercompany Funding:
Execute intercompany funding transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to transfer pricing policies. Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve any discrepancies.
Payment Processing:
Initiate and release payments through various payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, wire transfer). Ensure all payments are properly authorized and documented.
Reconciliation:
Resolve reconciliation breaks related to Treasury funds flows.
Reporting:
Prepare and analyze various treasury reports, including cash position reports and payment summaries.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payment processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Treasury Operations.
Understanding of payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, wire transfer).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with treasury management systems (TMS).
Experience in a fintech environment.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
