A regional office of a European semiconductor group is looking for a hands-on Master Data Specialist or Asst. Manager to manage and govern master data across domains: Customer, Vendor, Product/Materials, Finance. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, consistency and compliance across ERP, CRM and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1.\tMaster Data Management:
o\tCreate and maintain accurate records for items, customers and suppliers.
o\tEnsure alignment and consistency of master data across ERP, CRM and related systems.
o\tProcess new record creation, updates and mass uploads.
2.\tData Quality & Governance:
o\tMonitor and clean data: Resolve duplicates, errors and inconsistencies.
o\tMaintaining naming standards, codes, and reference data.
o\tSupport internal audits and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, PDPA).
3.\tCross-Functional Collaboration:
o\tWork with IT, Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless data flow.
o\tSupport system integration and data migration efforts.
o\tProvide training and support users handling master data.
4.\tData Quality Operations:
o\tRun daily data operations, onboard new records, process change requests and perform mass updates.
o\tMonitor data quality (accuracy, completeness, duplication) and drive corrections.
5.\tCompliance & Security (elements of governance):
o\tApply PDPA/GDPR requirements like consent, retention, correction and data transfers.
o\tEnsure proper controls for audits and documentation.
6.\tAnalytics & Reporting Support:
o\tEnsure clean and reliable master data for reporting and forecasting.
o\tMaintain data lineage and assisting in compliance reporting.
Qualifications

• \t3-5 years' experience in master data management, data governance, data operations

• \tHands-on with ERP/CRM system - SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar

• \tExperience with data quality, reporting, Excel; familiarity with SQL is an advantage.

• \tKnowledge of compliance frameworks such as PDPA, GDPR.

• \tStrong attention to detail and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

• \tDiploma/Degree in Business, IT, Data Management or related fields.

• \tAdditional certification in Data Governance or MDM is a plus.
Working Details

• \tWorking: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)

• \tSalary: S$5,500 to $7,000/month

• \tBenefits: 20 days annual leaves, medical benefits, performance bonus

• \tLocation: Sin Ming Lane (wfh/hybrid)
