We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Adjunct/Freelance Maths Teachers to join our team of dedicated educators.
Job Description:
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Adjunct/ Freelance Maths Teachers to teach Secondary level Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics education, possess a strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum, and be able to effectively engage and inspire students of varying abilities. You will play a key role in helping our students achieve their academic goals and develop a strong foundation in mathematics.
Responsibilities
Conduct engaging and effective mathematics lessons for primary and/or secondary school students in a tuition centre setting.
Curriculum development and materials to engage students
Deliver instruction in line with Stag Match Tuition's curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
Provide clear and concise explanations of mathematical concepts.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and questions.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Prepare and mark assignments, quizzes, and other assessments.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and centre management.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the centre's mathematics curriculum.
Qualifications
Must be a NIE-trained teacher, Ex-MOE teacher, or a current teacher.
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education (with a focus on Mathematics), or a related field is required.
Proven experience in teaching Primary and/or Secondary Mathematics in a Singapore school or tuition centre setting.
Strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in teaching Mathematics .
Familiarity with various teaching pedagogies (e.g., inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction).
Experience in curriculum development.
