Develop, implement, and review procurement strategies and processes for fleet assets (e.g., cranes, Rear-End Loaders (REL), Lorries, and vans) for BNF & BNL Group, as well as specialized machinery, consumables, and operational services.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard key suppliers, contractors, and service provider.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
Lead contract negotiations, review commercial terms, negotiate bulk pricing, and establish long-term framework agreements to optimize spend and achieve cost-savings targets.
Track, analyze, and report purchasing metrics, inventory turnover, cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs regularly to the management.
Work closely with Fleet, Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams across BNF & BNL Group to align purchasing schedules with operational schedules, fleet maintenance, and project timelines.
Monitor supply chain risks, oversee inventory control processes for spare parts and operational materials, and establish contingency plans.
Ensure all purchasing workflows comply strictly with internal financial controls, ISO quality systems, workplace safety (WSH/bizSAFE) protocols, and local statutory regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain management experience; prior experience in engineering, waste management, fleet operations, or environmental services will be an advantage.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and commercial deal-structuring skills with a track record of driving measurable cost savings.
Experience working independently to manage end-to-end procurement processes, set own KPIs, establish purchasing workflows, and report metrics to management.
Technical familiarity with heavy vehicle parts, industrial equipment, gas handling components, or engineering supplies is highly desirable.
Proficient in procurement software, and advanced data reporting (e.g., MS Excel, data dashboards).
