Responsibilities Training and expertise development under the Military Domain Experts Scheme (MDES). Learn to innovate and troubleshoot complex systems with great efficiency to protect our nation's sovereignty. Engineering and Maintenance Management: Oversee and manage engineering and maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness and meet both peacetime and wartime requirements. Project Implementation: Lead projects related to the introduction of new aircraft, operational facilities, and equipment into service. Reliability and Standards Improvement: Conduct studies and evaluations to improve the reliability and maintain the standards of aircraft, facilities, and other equipment. Modification and Performance Enhancement: Evaluate and implement modifications to upgrade the performance or reliability of equipment and installations. Failure Investigation and Corrective Action: Investigate failures of aircraft, ground air defence systems, facilities, and components, and implement corrective measures to address identified issues. Quality Assurance and Conformity: Implement and manage quality assurance, audit, and conformity inspection programs to maintain high standards of equipment, facilities, and services. Design and Development: Produce designs, specifications, and drawings for equipment and tooling. Develop techniques for damage repair across various infrastructures. Supply Chain Improvement: Review and enhance procurement, accounting, and operational supply processes to improve supply chain efficiency. Technological Awareness and Integration: Stay updated with the latest technological developments and integrate relevant advancements into RSAF operations and strategies. Qualifications Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Computer, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical)Degree in Business Analytics Degree in Computer Science Degree in Data Science Degree in Other Aerospace‐related Courses You may also apply if you have an "A" Level/IB certificate or a relevant engineering diploma and have been accepted into a recognised university to pursue one of the above degree courses. Experience with aviation systems is a plus.
