Key Tasks And Responsibilities Work with and support the Project Manager/Project Services Manager for assigned projects to set up project budget plan, monitor, measure and provide analyses on changes to the plan Perform cost analyses, providing benchmarks against technical scope and flag to the Project Manager promptly for mitigation of the cost risks Deliver a robust monthly forecast report Ensure that all costs related to project Contract requirements with Client are correctly identified and managed in line with work scope, and project and corporate procedures Responsible for project cash and currency forecasting in close cooperation with Finance Responsible for project cost close out and submitting relevant data to Estimating Responsible for executing project cost control tasks in one or more assigned projects, and assist in preparation of tenders as required Provide support in the area of corporate cost control activities as directed by the Cost Control Manager Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Minimum 5-10 years of experience with engineering / construction / operations experience within the offshore industry, including specific focus on cost control Previous FPSO experience is an advantage International and multi-cultural experience is an advantage Skills Team player with a proactive attitude Able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization Analytical organized with good attention to detail Able to deliver in a high pressure, fast pace project/operations environment Able to deliver high quality work on time Able to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environment Good knowledge of costing and estimating Field Development, FPSO OPEX and EPC projects Familiar with requirements of Oil & Gas sector major project delivery processes Good understanding and capability of integrating cost engineering on capital and operations projects Proficient in Excel Understanding / experience with ERP systems (IFS) is an advantage Fluent in English (oral and written) Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion BW Offshore is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
