The Group (including associates and joint ventures) operates under a number of well-known brands across food, convenience, health and beauty, home furnishings, restaurants and other retailing.
DFI Retail Group is a member of the Jardine Matheson Group.
The Role
The Senior Executive, People Services, will be a core part of the People Services function and assist with processes that support the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. This role will be critical to the operations backbone of the team and ensure processes are developed and executed accurately and systematically to enhance to overall team member experience. The Senior Executive will collaborate with other team members and various departments to remove roadblocks in processes and deliverables and enhance overall response quality and timelines.
Employee Lifecycle: Support with Level 3&4 issues raised by Jardines Service Centre (JSC) and act as escalation point for query management. Support and training for People Services Hotline to ensure timely support to enquiries. Conduct weekly new hire onboarding.
Process Delivery: Provide feedback on processes and identify improvement opportunities to enhance process. Support with mapping correct process and be part of regular review of these processes.
Local Compliance:
All processes should align with local regulatory compliance. A strong understanding of this is critical for success in this role.
Letter template management:
Streamline letter templates and ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant with local laws.
Digitization Initiatives: Support Assistant Manager/Head of People Services on digitization of current processes (MS Forms, automating work flows, etc.).
Testing/Implementation support for P&C technology: When new technology initiatives are rolled out, support with testing, consolidation of feedback, revision to workflows and other required support.
Cyclical activities:
Support bulk activities such as Annual salary reviews, Progressive wage model (PWM), Post Retirement processes and other similar activities with great attention to detail and target 100% accuracy.
Jardines Service Centre (JSC) support:
Collaborate with JSC to support with any knowledge and process gaps and ensure they have the right tools to deliver on their scope of work.
Back-Up support:
Be the cover for Executive, People Services role and support each other as a team during time off.
Ad-hoc projects:
Aside from the above, any other tasks requested for support from Assistant Manager/Head of People Services.
About You
Diploma/ Degree in Business/HR or equivalent
Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in for a fast-paced environment
Good working knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF & IRAS statutory requirements
Meticulous, organized and a team-player
Good communication and interpersonal skills
