Clinical Quality Standards & Improvement Sr Exec/ AM/ Manager *Medical* Role Overview: The Clinical Improvement Manager provides regulatory, education, clinical improvement and informatics support to designated centers. This role is an expert resource and partner providing ongoing support with quality patient outcomes, training and education, and auditing for compliance with policies, procedures and protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with the Directors, Preceptors, clinical management and their teams to assist and facilitate the implementation process of corporate initiatives, development and implementation of quality improvement plans.• Organize centre outreach activities as identified and prioritized by the team.• Serve as support educator and an expert in quality improvement.• Participate in centre quality meetings.• Provide ongoing support and development for clinical management and Preceptors.• Involved in the recommendation process for Preceptor selection, ongoing training and competency check-off and skill development.• Provide in-servicing, monitoring and education of all other clinical staff for adherence to current policies and procedures.• Communicate and share quality improvement best practices to meet organizational goals.• Oversee and administer the organization's clinical risk management programme for monitoring, reviewing and reporting of risks to assist in identifying and eliminating causes of incidents to prevent recurrence.• Participate in planning and implementation of strategic quality improvement initiatives that will advance organization's objectives.• Develop and support ongoing learning that will help sustain quality, including coaching in facilitation and improvement methodologies.• Provide consulting and analytical support to improvement teams to achieve performance targets.• Facilitate enterprise-wide and/or entity specific improvement initiatives through the full project cycle.• Design and/or identify appropriate performance measures to evaluate effectiveness of implemented improvements.• Act as change agent by promoting use of the Model for Improvement and LEAN as a means of making improvement, encouraging systems thinking, sharing information, providing formal education and just-in-time training.• Collaborate across organizations in the development or revision of policies/procedures/guidelines applicable to the improvement work.• Support service improvement by coaching and facilitating discussions to encourage creative thinking and test new ways of service delivery that are patient-centered. Requirements: • Minimum Degree in any field.• Experience in front line customer service and Quality Standards and Improvement for 2 years is advantageous.• Enjoys meeting and helping people.• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
