Assistant Safety Manager

Job Responsibilities : Assist in developing and implementing safety policies and programmes Support the Safety Manager in enforcing safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance Assist to monitor the effectiveness of safety programmes and make recommendations for improvements Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards or areas where safety measures can be improved Assist in maintaining accurate records of safety inspections and incident reports Ensure proper documentation of compliance with safety regulations and internal safety standards Assist in investigating workplace accidents, document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence Collaborate with the Safety Manager to prepare reports for management regarding incidents, safety trends and recommendations for improvements Support the development of safety protocols for high-risk activities and work areas Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records including safety logs, accident reports and regulatory compliance documentation Assist in preparing and submitting safety compliance reports to regulatory agencies as required Job Requirements : Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Health and safety related disciplines Possess valid MOM registered WSHO, NEA registered ECO and PUB Registered ECMO license Certificate in BizSafe level 2 Risk Management or equivalent Minimum 8 years working experience in Construction Industry Relevant experience in civil and building industry preferred Possess class 3 driving license and own a personal vehicle Good communication skills, team player, good knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, good written and spoken English
