About the role

We are seeking an experienced Forex and Precious Metals Derivatives Trader to join our dynamic trading team and lead the development of the FX / PM franchise.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of forex and precious metals markets, strong quantitative skills, and a proven track record in executing and managing derivative risks, including structured products.

What you'll do

  • Manage a forex and precious metals derivatives portfolio, including exotics, parameters, risks, and pricing infrastructure.
  • Lead the development of the activity covering all aspects:
    • Product development and collaboration with Structuring, Legal, Operations, etc.
    • Pricing infrastructure enhancement with Quants and IT.
    • Clients coverage development with Sales.
    • Risk framework adequacy with the Risk department.

What you'll need

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in forex and precious metals derivatives trading at a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, pricing models, and risk management techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
