General Manager Genius Academy

Position Summary Having built strong early traction, we are now scaling globally and looking for a visionary General Manager – Genius Academy to lead our journey to $10M+ in revenues and beyond . This role is responsible for scaling a proven leader who has scaled B2C EdTech platforms , high‐impact AI educational programs, driving learner engagement, and ensuring excellence in AI‐based curriculum design, delivery, and outcomes. The GM will drive strategic growth, customer engagement, and monetization while building and leading a world‐class cross‐functional team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Genius Academy, aligning with the overall company vision and business objectives. Identify emerging trends in education and technology to ensure the Genius Academy's programs remain cutting‐edge and relevant. Drive innovation in learning methodologies, content delivery, and assessment strategies. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the Genius Academy's success and report on progress to senior leadership. AI‐Powered Product & Platform Innovation Collaborate with Product, Tech, and AI teams to enhance user experience through AI‐driven personalization, adaptive learning . Lead initiatives to increase learner engagement, retention, and lifetime value. Ensure the platform delivers a differentiated, world‐class online EdTech experience. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and content creators to develop high‐quality, engaging, and effective online learning materials. Ensure all programs are aligned with learning outcomes and industry standards. Implement robust quality assurance processes for all Genius Academy content and delivery. Operations & Growth Oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the Genius Academy, including online content production; program delivery; learner support, platform management, and resource allocation. Develop and manage the Genius Academy's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Drive learner acquisition and retention strategies, working closely with marketing and sales teams. Ensure high standards of quality, scalability, and reliability across all Genius Academy operations. Explore and establish strategic partnerships to expand the Academy's reach and offerings. Scale academy operations to support growing learner numbers and new program launches. Establish clear KPIs and performance tracking systems to measure progress and optimize performance. Build, mentor, and lead a high‐performing team of educators, content developers, and operational staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the Genius Academy team. Conduct performance reviews and provide opportunities for professional development for team members. Stakeholder & External Engagement Work closely with senior leadership to align Genius Academy initiatives with broader organizational objectives. Represent the Genius Academy with external stakeholders, including partners, collaborators, and potential investors. Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, academic institutions, and EdTech communities to enhance credibility and growth opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of proven experience as a General Manager or Business Head in a B2C EdTech organization. Demonstrated success in scaling a business unit or platform to significant revenues (preferably $10M+). Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling online educational programs. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and online educational technologies. Strong understanding of digital growth levers : user acquisition, retention, engagement, and monetization. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other educational platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, rapidly evolving environment . Global exposure or experience in scaling online consumer businesses across multiple geographies is a strong advantage.
