With headquarters in Copenhagen and eleven sites spanning from Orlando to Melbourne, we operate in a highly global environment where things are moving fastThe opportunity As a Wheels and Brakes Purchaser, you are responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and timely delivery of aircraft wheels, brakes, and associated components for MRO operations. This role ensures that all purchased parts comply with regulatory and airworthiness requirements, optimizing costs, quality, and turnaround time. The primary tasks will include, not limited to: Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring all purchase orders are raised, tracked, and delivered on time. Follow up closely with suppliers to secure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, generating regular stock and purchase reports. Coordinate repairs, retreads, and exchange orders to ensure timely updates and availability. Work with vendors and internal teams to source the best materials at competitive costs and quality. Ensure accurate setup of purchasing data, supplier records and quality control processes. Support production by aligning purchases with demand forecasts and short/long-term plans. Participate in supplier development, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: We are seeking a Wheels and Brakes Purchaser who is aligned with the description below: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in aviation MRO or aerospace. Knowledge of aircraft components, especially wheels and brakes. Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and certification (CAAS, EASA, FAA, etc). Excellent knowledge of the company's IT systems, including MS Office and Quantum Control. Skills and Attributes: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment. Skill in planning and analyzing the requirements of the production department. Ability to read and understand aircraft part documentation and certification. Skill at researching the market, looking for potential suppliers and designing quotations for the purchase order.
