Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Preferred Qualifications Experience with storage technologies and managing a team that builds and operates systems. Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and building a roadmap of launches/improvements with the ability to provide quality experience to enterprise customers. Experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent engineering feature launches with the ability to work with specialists on system designs. Ability to understand and guide work within codebases and set technical direction. Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and regional partners. Responsibilities Lead a team of software engineers responsible for delivering client experience for Google Cloud Storage and enabling Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) workloads for customers. Hire, develop, and retain a team of software engineers. Empower the team to take ownership and deliver results. Partner with stakeholders and technical leads to define and execute the technical strategy for Storage. Guide the team through architectural decisions and ensure code quality is maintained through design and code review processes.
