Job Description
CyberArk’s Pre-sales team is committed to helping customers discover and implement solutions that deliver positive business outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager for Specialist Solution Engineer to lead, coach, and inspire our APJ pre-sales team. You will oversee experienced specialist solution engineers, develop technical expertise, and collaborate with sales and product teams to drive revenue growth. You will also serve as a key link between Sales Specialists, Solution Engineers, SME, and internal resources, ensuring seamless coordination between sales and technical efforts.
Who You’ll Lead:
Our Specialist Solution Engineers are high-energy professionals working closely with sales to understand customer needs and communicate the value of CyberArk’s Identity Security solutions. They own sales opportunities, lead technical engagements, and support the evaluation stage of sales, including demos and POCs.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled SME Solution Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Ensure your team maintains broad knowledge of identity security solutions and industry best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ offerings.
Partner with Specialist Sales to tailor technical solutions to customer needs.
Act as a key liaison between Sales and SME, ensuring effective communication during pre-sales activities.
Lead and participate in product demos, technical presentations, and POCs.
Engage with the right technical resources to address complex customer requirements.
Build strong relationships with key customers, responding to technical inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with customers, product teams, and GTM to provide feedback and influence product development.
Qualifications
Proven Leadership: 10+ years in sales engineering or technical sales, with at least 3 years in management.
Cyber Security Expertise: 15+ years in cybersecurity concepts, regulations, and enterprise security solutions.
Identity Security Expertise: 15+ years in IAM, IdPs, PAM, Secrets Management, and Certificate Management.
Certifications: CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or CyberArk certifications preferred.
Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
Regional Experience: 5+ years in a cybersecurity vendor covering Asia Pacific and Japan.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with global teams across various functions.
Public Communication: Experience speaking at industry events and media interviews.
Time Zone Coverage: Ability to work across all APJ time zones and collaborate with teams in Israel and the US.
