Responsibilities: Cooking & Food Preparation Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children according to the centre's menu and dietary guidelines. Ensure food is prepared safely, hygienically, and served on time. Follow proper food portioning and handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and audit requirements. Cleaning & Hygiene Maintenance Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all classrooms, toilets, common areas, and office spaces. Sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces daily. Ensure waste is disposed of properly and bins are cleaned regularly. Assist with sanitisation routines to support a healthy and safe environment. Ensure all duties comply with ECDA hygiene and health standards. Requirements: Prior experience in cooking or cleaning, preferably in a preschool or food-handling environment. Able to work independently and manage time efficiently. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage).
