About the role Telsecure, a provider of cybersecurity consultancy services, is seeking a talented Junior Penetration Tester to join our team. As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our client's systems and networks. What you'll be doing Independently perform comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing (Web App, Network, Mobile App, Source Code Review) on client systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities Support the delivery of other security services such as host configurations review, architecture review, risks assessments, threat modelling, threat hunting and red/purple teaming Analyze and interpret test results, provide detailed reports, and recommend effective remediation strategies Collaborate with client security team to implement and validate the effectiveness of security controls Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the company's security measures What we're looking for Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in penetration testing or vulnerability assessment OCSP, CREST (CRT) or other equivalent certifications Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common hacking methodologies Proficiency in using security tools, such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Wireshark Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices What we offer Competitive salary Flexible work arrangements Opportunities to deliver a wide range of cybersecurity consultancy services to listed enterprise clients Collaborative and supportive work environment with a strong emphasis on empowerment About us Telsecure Pte.
