Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Siemens PLC engineer to support our upcoming PLC projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, coding, and testing Siemens PLC systems using the TIA portal, with specific experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and test Siemens PLC systems utilizing the TIA portal to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to develop and implement PLC solutions that comply with regulatory requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work with the Desigo CC system to integrate and manage building automation and control systems.
  • Leverage expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) or Process Control Systems (PCS) to support various projects and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Design and engineer hardware components for PLC systems, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and meet project requirements.
  • Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for PLC systems, addressing any issues that arise during installation, commissioning, and operation.
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in Siemens PLC engineering, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the TIA portal for PLC design, coding, and testing. Experience with the Desigo CC system and BMS/PCS is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide effective on-site support.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing and executing PLC projects, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in Siemens PLC systems, BMS, or PCS.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
