Production Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities Oversee safety and discipline within the production area; actively participate in and support Health and Safety initiatives such as DWB, BBS, and H&S meetings. Supervise daily operator activities in the workshop; enforce discipline and maintain 6S standards in the production section. Organize production activities in alignment with the production plan and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. Drive departmental performance to achieve key production KPIs, including but not limited to material accuracy, yield, efficiency, and productivity. Address production issues promptly and provide timely feedback to supervisors. Collaborate with other departments to investigate the root causes of product defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Manage resource allocation for production lines, including manpower, equipment, and materials. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of production records, databases, and documentation. Propose continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce scrap and operational costs. Handle additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management. Supervise assemblers and team leaders; motivate, coach, and support team members to meet performance expectations. Actively participate in and encourage team involvement in company programs and initiatives. Requirements Possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a high-volume operation. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and manage a team of product builders. Proficient in using Microsoft office Able to perform night shifts.
