Sonographer Role Overview ">

The Sonographer occupies a pivotal position within the clinical team, conducting general ultrasound examinations for patients as requested by referring physicians.

  • Maintains patient safety and well-being at all times.
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment, adhering to work practices related to patient care, modesty, safety, and infection control.
  • Carefully utilizes and maintains ultrasound equipment at the diagnostic centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • To perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient information, examination results, and any subsequent actions taken.
  • To ensure effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and examination outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A qualified Sonographer with relevant certification or degree and at least 3 years of experience in Singapore is required.
  • Diploma or degree in Radiography from a recognized institution and AHPC Certification is an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate possesses maturity, a strong sense of commitment, and dedication.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A professional image and top-quality customer service are essential.
