Job Title: Space Curator

We are seeking a skilled and creative Space Curator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces, with a strong focus on design concepts, material selection, project management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
  • Design Development: Create design concepts, mood boards, and detailed 2D and 3D plans using design software.
  • Material & Product Selection: Select and specify furnishings, fabrics, lighting, fixtures, and materials.
  • Project Management: Develop project timelines and budgets, oversee costs, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople.
  • Compliance: Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and other standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Interior Design or a related field is highly valued.
  • Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous works is essential to demonstrate design talent and creativity.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D Max is crucial for creating plans and visualizations.
  • Creative Talent: Imagination, artistic ability, and a keen eye for design are fundamental.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills are needed to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with clients and contractors.
