Job Description
At NUS, we are at the forefront of clean energy innovation, focusing on advanced technologies for sustainable hydrogen production. We are seeking a talented and experienced Membrane Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge membrane solutions for hydrogen production and separation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and optimize membranes for hydrogen separation, purification, and production applications.
Conduct research on new membrane materials (e.g., polymeric, ceramic, composite) and their application in hydrogen fuel cell and electrolysis systems.
Oversee membrane testing, characterization (SEM, XRD, FTIR, etc.), and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with R&D teams to scale up membrane technologies from lab to pilot and industrial scale.
Provide technical insights into membrane degradation, durability, and efficiency improvements.
Support cross-functional teams in the integration of membranes into hydrogen production units.
Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in membrane technology and hydrogen production.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields with a focus on membrane technology.
Proven experience (3+ years) in membrane design and development, specifically for gas separation or hydrogen-related applications.
Strong understanding of hydrogen production technologies such as water electrolysis, methane reforming, or fuel cells.
Proficiency in membrane characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, etc.).
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
