Summary:
We are looking for a high-calibre investment professional to join our Singapore office. As an Associate, you will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle from origination and evaluation to execution and portfolio support while also contributing to capital formation and fund strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of venture debt, private credit, and the startup ecosystem in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Sourcing & Market Intelligence
Proactively source and track high-quality venture and growth-stage opportunities across Asia
Build and maintain strong networks with founders, VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem players
Conduct market mapping and industry deep-dives to identify thematic opportunities
Monitor macro trends and sector-specific dynamics to inform investment strategy
Due Diligence & Deal Execution
Lead financial, commercial, and operational due diligence for prospective investments
Develop robust financial models to evaluate business plans, capital structures, and return scenarios
Draft investment memos and materials for internal decision-making and Investment Committee reviews
Support negotiation of term sheets and transaction documents alongside senior team members
Capital Formation & Fund Strategy:
Assist in investor outreach, fundraising materials, and LP communications
Support investor reporting and portfolio analytics
Contribute to strategic initiatives to grow the firm's presence and brand in Asia
Qualifications & Skills:
3–5 years of relevant experience in venture debt, private credit, VC, growth equity, investment banking, or corporate development
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in financial modelling and investment analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g., Japanese, Korean, Mandarin) is highly preferred
Strong interest in startups, innovation, and emerging technologies
Self-starter with a bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
