Job Overview
The Principal Cloud Architect position entails leading the architectural design and implementation of secure and scalable hybrid cloud solutions for clients, with a focus on government entities in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of government cloud adoption policies, security guidelines, and compliance requirements to ensure effective solution deployment.
- Design and implement robust cloud security controls, including identity and access management, data protection, network security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
- Create hybrid cloud architectures that integrate on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services seamlessly, ensuring interoperability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to define technical solutions, contribute to proposals, and present to clients.
Key Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge of cloud computing, security, and architecture principles.
- Experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions for government entities or similar industries.
- Strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
