Responsibilities Work with the Medison Business Development team to support partners through the BD journey from first contact to deal closure. Evaluate BD opportunities in selected APAC markets, notably China, and assist with assessment of new opportunities. Develop and consolidate insights into Business Case presentations for potential partners. Lead market research activities related to BD projects in APAC, covering secondary research from clinical to reimbursement strategy. Partner with internal subject‐matter experts to validate unmet need and pathways to market. Conduct primary research through interviews with key opinion leaders. Monitor the BD environment, propose and initiate business opportunities to grow Medison's presence in APAC. Prepare written analysis and summary reports of research insights. Comply with all Medison SOPs, policies and national guidelines. Internal & External Interfaces Internal – Country and Regional Managers, Functional leads, Business Development Team External – Partners and relevant stakeholders (HCPs, KOLs, pharmacies, clinics)Requirements Education & Experience Graduate degree in life or natural sciences, medicine, pharmaceutical or a similar scientific discipline (alternative qualifications considered with relevant training or experience). Post‐graduate degree in a relevant scientific, health‐economic or business field (preferred). Minimum 5 years' experience in pharmaceuticals/biotechnology (commercial, medical, market access), consulting, banking/healthcare financial analysis or biotech business development. Experience engaging specialist healthcare professionals, assessing novel treatments in China, and knowledge of Asia Pacific pharma policy and landscape. Prior experience with rare diseases and/or oncology is an advantage. Fluent English (essential) and Mandarin (essential). Required Skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships. Flexibility to engage a global team across time zones. Innovative and strategic thinking. Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities. Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment.
