About Polygon Labs Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agg Layer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agg Layer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Your Role As a De Fi Business Development Specialist focusing on Polygon technology, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering collaborations, and expanding Polygon Labs’ presence in the De Fi space. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute strategies that drive adoption of our De Fi solutions on the Polygon network. About the Team The De Fi team at Polygon Labs is one of the most well known and most established in the space. As a team, we’re focused on developing sustainable business models on-chain, and supporting novel primitives. The main focus over the coming years puts a heavy emphasis on building out native products on Polygon networks. Joining our team means working closely with a group of passionate, De Fi-native builders, who live and breathe De Fi. Our collaborative team atmosphere creates an inclusive environment for sharpening existing sector knowledge, and direct contact with senior leadership on strategy and execution. Your Responsibilities A typical day involves participating in both in-person and virtual calls to pitch, onboard, and provide project support for De Fi initiatives on Polygon networks. It often includes global travel to attend conferences, while also focusing on developing team strategy across various blockchains within the Polygon community, such as Polygon Po S, Polygon zk EVM, Polygon CDK chains, and Polygon Miden. Close collaboration with the existing De Fi team is essential, along with working cross-functionally with teams like Governance, Institutional Finance, CDK, and Enterprise on De Fi initiatives. Creating and managing pipelines of De Fi native projects. Cultivating subject-matter expertise around new De Fi primitives, and developing frameworks for analysis of narratives. Understanding needs of projects building in the Polygon community, and working hands-on to support their growth. Facilitating cross-functional relationships internally, ensuring that the De Fi team is providing value across all of Polygon Labs core initiatives. What You'll Need 2-4 years of experience working in De Fi. Experience working on a BD team, and background in effective communication to high-priority counterparties. Fluency in any of Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Thai would be advantageous. Extensive relationships in De Fi. Ability to quickly analyze new projects for value add to the Polygon community.
