Job Title: Construction Site Assistant

As a Construction Site Assistant, you will be working closely with the Project Director to oversee day-to-day site activities. This is an entry-level position and all candidates are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to motivate and lead a team, and have strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Project Director to oversee day-to-day site activities.
  • Ensure all construction works progress according to project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Review and verify material and equipment requisitions to meet project specifications.
  • Manage all site correspondence and documentation with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Supervise site operations, including monitoring subcontractor performance and workforce coordination.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities through clear communication and collaboration.
  • Lead site meetings with internal teams to address and resolve construction challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered on-site.
  • Attend weekly internal progress meetings and provide updates to management.
  • Develops the master schedule for the project using Excel or MS Project, AUTOCAD software.
  • Carries out site inspections and internal audits to ensure work quality aligns with building codes and project targets.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Working Hours:

6 Working days, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Working Location:

Primary location at site office near Tampines Fire Station. Potential locations in future include Pasir Ris, Tampines, Paya Lebar.
