Asphalt Trader

e are seeking an Asphalt Trader to join our dynamic team. As an Asphalt Trader, you will play a crucial role in the resources and energy industry, responsible for the trading and distribution of asphalt products. This full-time position is based in the Central Region, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Actively monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and supply and demand dynamics to identify profitable trading opportunities
• Negotiate and execute asphalt purchase and sale contracts with a diverse range of suppliers and customers
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support the company's analysis and decision-making
• Identify and assess new market opportunities to expand the company's asphalt trading business

What we're looking for

• Fresh grad or minimum 1 year of experience in asphalt or commodity trading.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or analytics, is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed trading decisions
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
