Facilities Electrical Engineer / Senior Engineer SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a Joint Venture between NXP and TSMC. We offer flexible and cost effective semiconductor fabrication solutions by maintaining fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, 100% equipment automation and proven wafer‑manufacturing processes. We’re looking for innovative, passionate, and talented people to join our team. We’re searching for an Engineer/Senior Engineer to be part of our Facilities Department, providing electrical systems support and other miscellaneous works related to wafer fabrication to ensure continuous supply of utilities at the required performance level or specifications. What you will be working on: Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for systems in charge to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times. Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems to restore them to operating conditions in the shortest possible time. Monitor & review system performance and capacity usage, and provide regular reports to recommend and implement improvement/enhancement projects. Develop and implement operating procedures to ensure optimal operation of systems. Monitor and review utility consumptions and work with users to implement projects to reduce consumption where possible. Track spares & consumable usage and ensure adequate provision for day‑to‑day operation. Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentation are generated & properly filed for future reference & review. Evaluate & recommend appropriate spares, consumables & other resources necessary for day‑to‑day operation of the systems. More about you: Degree in Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering or equivalent. Basic engineering knowledge, which may include knowledge in industrial automation & industrial control systems. 1‑5 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred. Open to fresh graduates too. Good problem‑solving skills and strong technical knowledge. Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
