Job Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in new product introduction (NPI), overseeing the implementation of new production processes and ensuring that products are manufactured to specification. You will collaborate with teams across multiple regions (US, Malaysia, Singapore) to resolve technical issues, streamline production processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Review production prints and ensure smooth new production implementation. Manage and track the completion of RTM/RPM projects from customers. Collaborate with QA, production, and process teams to meet new product requirements. Monitor production and quality to ensure adherence to specifications. Address any technical issues during all stages of production. Coordinate with technical teams across the US, Malaysia, and Singapore to resolve engineering issues. Work with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and production to procure materials, tooling, and gauges for new products. Engineering Support & Process Improvement Develop work instructions (WI, OMS) and technical write-ups for production. Liaise with suppliers and contractors for engineering reviews of technical purchases. Coordinate engineering activities to support production and NPI. Provide technical guidance to production teams on manufacturing and testing requirements. Assist in resolving production quality issues in collaboration with the production team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on productivity, cost reduction, and process enhancements. Design and develop tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize statistical tools to analyze and minimize process deviations. Ensure new processes are tested and stable before and during production. Regularly review and update process timings for new and existing products. Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement projects. Oversee weekly CTI cost‐down activities. Qualifications & Skills Education : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience : Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Skills : Strong project management skills (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Proficient in English (both written and verbal). Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software tools. Personal Attributes Positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‐paced environment.
