Following our successful projects for events like the ASEAN Summit and APEC, we are now expanding our footprint into the dynamic Myanmar market. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to establish and lead our market entry into Myanmar. This role is critical for building our presence, driving revenue growth, and becoming the trusted face of Corporate IT Solutions in Yangon. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the local business landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in IT, software, or digital solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Penetration & Strategy Execution: Execute the 12-month business development plan to establish Corporate IT Solutions as a key player in Myanmar’s IT and smart solutions sector. Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and adapt strategies to local needs. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads across target sectors: government, large-scale event organizers, real estate developers, and local IT integrators. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Proactively identify, contact, and meet with potential clients and partners through direct outreach, networking events, and referrals. Develop and deliver compelling, customized presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our AI-powered solutions (e.g., Integrated Virtual System, Smart Governance Platforms, Data Analytics). Nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, moving leads systematically through the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure. 3. Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and secure strategic partnerships with local companies, including IT integrators, event management firms, and consultancy agencies. Lead negotiations and finalize formal agreements (e.g., MOUs) to enhance market reach and credibility. 4. Reporting & Market Intelligence: Provide regular, detailed progress reports to Singapore HQ, including activity metrics, pipeline status, and market feedback. Deliver key deliverables as per the project timeline, including the initial Market Entry Report and quarterly progress updates. Key Deliverables (Aligned with MRA Grant KPIs) Month 3: A comprehensive Market Entry Report . Month 6: Q2 Progress Report with a sales pipeline valued at a minimum of S$400,000. Month 9: Q3 Progress Report with an updated pipeline of S$600,000 and advanced partnership discussions. Month 12: Year-End Report confirming secured pilot projects and a strategic plan for Year 2. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the IT, software, or technology services sector. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully navigating complex sales cycles. Established network and demonstrable experience working in the Myanmar business environment is highly preferred . Experience in the events, smart city, or government tech sectors is a significant advantage. Skills & Competencies Fluency in Burmese and English is mandatory. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong cultural intelligence and ability to build trust and rapport with local clients and partners. Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
