Incumbent will typically spend 50% of time providing pre-sales technical support and 50% of time providing post-sales technical support.
Pre-Sales Technical Support
Partner with Sales to win business opportunities by assessing potential applications of company's engineering probe systems products and accessories to meet customer needs, and prepare detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer applications/testing solutions.
Provide technical expertise to customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility, often requiring rapid prototyping or product demos.
Provide software development and consultation to prospective users, and assess and validate product capabilities.
Post-Sales Technical Support
Support customers' buy-off of company's products, ensuring solutions function according to specifications.
Deliver technical support through testing solution delivery, installation, and application training.
Assist customers with issue reporting and internal escalation summaries.
Collaborate with functional teams to resolve customer issues and provide testing solutions.
Others
Monitor and report on customer testing requirements, technical trends, and market information.
Support domestic and international business travel as needed.
