Jurong Port’s multipurpose port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerized cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Marina South. Besides Singapore, Jurong Port is involved in overseas joint ventures in China and Indonesia. In 2016, Jurong Port’s local and overseas terminals handled close to 35 million tons of general and bulk cargo, and 560,000 TEUs of container cargo. Job Requirements Business Architecture Cultivate relationships with business stakeholders. Maintain in-depth knowledge of strategic business plans. Develop and maintain current and future state business architecture Information System & Technology Architecture Deliver technology architectural initiatives that improve efficiency aligned with business strategy. Cultivate relationships with other IT divisions Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization\'s technologies and architectures. Develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints. Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies. Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives. Provide direction in technology selection in realising Enterprise Architecture strategy Produce guideline in implementing automation for various processes throughout the Enterprise Provide architectural direction to Application Architect, Data Architect, Application and Technology Solution team. Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business and IT management. Data Architecture Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise data and metadata structures. Ensure best practices for master data management and integration are setup and practiced Architectural Governance Develop, communicate and deploy Enterprise Architecture Governance processes. Develop and communicate enterprise technology standards and policies. Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans. Document exceptions to architectural standards. Ensure that project documentation captures significant architectural decisions. Ensure that architectural governance is a fair, consistent and transparent process. Identify architectural risks and propose alternatives and solutions. Architecture Processes & Tools Develop, communicate and deploy Enterprise Architecture processes. Deploy and maintain an Enterprise Architecture repository and tools. Perform annual architectural maturity assessments. Produce regular architecture status reports Architecture Consultancy Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies. Provide architectural consulting to programs, projects and initiatives. Support business and IT strategic planning. Support product development teams. Act as the focal point for enterprise architecture and IT standards. Research & Development Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations. Educational Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field. Relevant experience Thorough understanding of the security controls provided in common platforms and applications in the corporate environment including, but not limited to, Unix, Linux, Windows, Oracle, MS SQL Server Microsoft Outlook, J2EE and .NET applications A proven track record of successful delivery Experience with EA framework, especially TOGAF Interfaces and leads business development discussions across cross-functional teams, engaging both internal and external stakeholders Must have hands-on experience defining application and system architecture 10+ years of development experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality applications Extensive leadership and team building skills Strong foundation in computer science with core competencies in statistics, efficient data structures, algorithm designs, data mining, machine learning Have a successful track record of leading architecture work for large scale projects that represent broad strategic initiatives meeting quantifiable business objectives and resulting in tangible impact for the organization Experience with development of APIs Personal Characteristics & Behaviors Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to efficiently articulate ideas, pass along information and present visionary concepts to key decision-makers A strong and proactive work ethic Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting demanding deadlines Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision making Agnostic towards technology choices #J-18808-Ljbffr
