Develop and sustain an internationally recognized, externally funded research program in the field of Plant Science, Plant Engineering, or Plant Synthetic Biology. Mentor junior faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students. Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within and beyond the university. Contribute to the strategic growth and visibility of the department and university. Qualifications A PhD in Plant Biology, Plant Engineering, Plant Synthetic Biology, or a closely related field. A distinguished record of scholarly achievement, including: High-impact publications in top-tier journals. International recognition and awards. Strong record of research funding. Proven excellence in teaching and mentorship at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Demonstrated leadership in academic and/or research institutions. A collaborative spirit with a vision for advancing innovation in life sciences.
