Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Consultant with expertise in FortiGate firewalls, Checkpoint firewalls, and Cisco L2/L3 networking. The role involves providing consultation, implementation, and support services to ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultancy, design, and implementation for FortiGate firewall solutions.
  • Configure, support, and maintain Checkpoint firewalls.
  • Manage and optimize Cisco L2/L3 devices (routers, switches).
  • Advise clients on best practices for network security, performance, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and solution proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver network solutions aligned with business needs.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls (FortiGate-14).
  • Proven experience with Checkpoint firewalls (Checkpoint-2).
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco L2/L3 technologies (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, routing & switching).
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of VPN, NAT, IPS/IDS, and firewall policy management.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, and WAN optimization.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG).
  • Scripting/automation (Python, Ansible) knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of experience in network consultancy or engineering roles.
