About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department.

As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services using various modalities such as CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography.

  • Providing high-quality radiography services to patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Conducting special examinations such as CT Scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography.
  • Liaising with and accepting advice from the Manager.
  • Assisting the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
  • Assisting in the care and maintenance of Ultrasound and X-ray machines and radiographic equipment.
  • Participating in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
  • Attending and contributing to departmental staff meetings.
  • Supervising and directing activities of departmental staff when necessary.
  • Participating in on-call duties.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Radiography or Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent.
  • Registration with AHPC.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to cover on call duties as rostered.
  • Office hours, off on Sunday and PH.
