What the role is:
This traineeship with the Income Security Policy Division (ISPD). ISPD supports MOM in achieving its goal of financial security for Singaporeans. The division works closely with the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board and other Gov agencies to formulate and implement policies and initiatives to improve Singaporeans’ financial security and financial well-being.
What you will be working on:
Conduct landscape scan to identify key actors in the youth financial literacy space
Develop strategy for engaging youths on financial literacy, including the topics and content of engagement and engagement partners
Design youth engagement sessions together with identified partners
What we are looking for:
Prior experience or keen interest in pedagogy and/or working with youths will be given additional consideration
Strong interest or experience in financial planning and policy matters
Strong ability and mental flexibility in making sound judgement on cross-cutting issues and reconcile differences in opinions to achieve common objectives
Good communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong project management, writing and presentation skills
Self-motivated and resourceful; able to deliver outcomes under time pressure, both independently and in a team
