Job Title: Emergency Care Specialist

The Emergency Care Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital care that ensures positive patient outcomes. This role involves working with other crew members to deliver medical support, assessing patients, exercising the principles of triage, and providing emergency medical care at the scene or in an ambulance during conveyance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency care
  • Work collaboratively with other crew members to deliver medical support
  • Exercise principles of triage to prioritize patient care
  • Provide emergency medical care at the scene or in an ambulance during conveyance

Requirements:

  • Paramedic Level III / Level 3 Paramedicine Certification
  • Higher NITEC in Paramedic & Emergency Care (ITE)
  • UPEC-Accredited Paramedic
  • Diploma with at least 3 years' experience in pre-hospital emergency care OR Diploma in Nursing / Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years' nursing experience
  • Able to work under challenging situations independently and with integrity
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Multilingual ability is an added advantage
  • Physically fit with good stamina, and able to commit to irregular shift-work, including weekends and public holidays
  • Registered Nurses with A&E / ICU experience an advantage

Development Opportunities:

  • Training and development will be provided to maintain skills' currency
  • Participation in cross-border transfers, medevacs, international and local events, as well as media activities; or to further advance certification by becoming a first aid trainer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $2, $3,800.00 per month
