Junior Execution Equities Trader Recruitment

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our trading desk. The successful candidate will support the execution of equity trades across global markets, assist senior traders, and help maintain optimal execution performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a foundation in equity trading.

The role may require flexibility in your work hours. Please note that, on occasion, you may be required to work overnight hours between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM as part of covering the US markets. These instances will be scheduled in advance and communicated.

Job Description

- Keeping up to date with market news / developments and channel market information flow to the team in a timely manner

- Monitor market conditions, order flow and trading activity in real time

- Execute equity trades under the supervision of senior traders

- Operate OAC's proprietary processes to assist with idea generation

- Use fundamental analysis to develop ideas, using Bloomberg or other research portals

- Employ coding skills to maintain or improve upon workflow automation processes at OAC

Skills and Qualifications Requirement

- Strong numerical and analytical skills

- Self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure

- Good at multi-tasking

- Possess strong interest in understanding the global financial markets

- A finance-related degree is preferred but not an absolute requirement

- Strong proficiency in Excel and coding experience will be preferred (VBA / Python)

- Fresh graduates will also be considered for this position
