Conceptualize and design the technical architecture for projects, aligning with business requirements and IT strategies. Evaluate and select suitable technologies and vendors for proposed solutions. Collaborate with enterprise architects, subject matter experts, and vendors to ensure technical solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines. Facilitate communication between enterprise architects and project delivery teams. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for proposed solution architectures. Effectively communicate with stakeholders to drive the solution architecture process and secure approvals. Advocate for technical solutions and obtain buy-in from IT management and the enterprise technology/architecture board. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve solution designs. Job Requirements: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture roles, with a deep understanding of system and project implementation lifecycles within a banking context. Proven ability to conceptualize scalable and resilient technical architectures that involve end-to-end integration of channels, systems, middleware, data warehouses, and more. Experience in architecting solutions integrating commercial off-the-shelf products and cloud solutions is highly valued. Strong proficiency in system integration patterns, enterprise architecture, microservices architecture, cloud computing services, and system/network infrastructure. Comprehensive understanding of banking technologies, systems, industry developments, and trends. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and programming languages like Java and/or .NET. Having functional and operational knowledge in at least one of the following domains:PaymentsCustomer onboarding and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) (Preferred)Digital workflowData warehouse and analytics Relevant certifications in TOGAF and cloud solution architecture or similar are highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively and gain buy-in from management and stakeholders.
