Position Overview:

As a DeFi Options Trader, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing options trading strategies within various DeFi protocols. You will collaborate closely with our trading team and the Head of Options Trading to ensure profitable trading operations, continuously analyzing and adjusting strategies to adapt to market conditions.

You are the Trader we are looking for if you are passionate about DeFi, possess a sharp analytical mindset, and are eager to be part of a pioneering trading team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Options Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Design, develop, and deploy algorithmic options trading strategies tailored for various DeFi protocols.
  • Optimize and refine strategies based on performance metrics and market conditions.

Market Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Continuously monitor DeFi options markets to identify trading opportunities and risks.
  • Analyze market trends, liquidity conditions, and protocol developments to inform trading decisions.

Risk Management:

  • Implement robust risk management techniques to mitigate potential losses and ensure the integrity of trading operations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements relevant to DeFi options trading.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Evaluate the performance of options trading strategies through backtesting and real-time analysis.
  • Generate detailed reports on trading activity, profitability, and key performance indicators.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the Head of Options Trading, other traders, developers, and quantitative analysts to enhance trading infrastructure and strategies.
  • Maintain effective communication with DeFi protocol teams and external partners to stay informed about protocol updates and industry trends.

Technology Integration:

  • Collaborate with the technology team to integrate options trading strategies with existing systems and ensure seamless execution.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and tools to enhance trading capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in options trading, particularly within the DeFi space.
  • Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Solidity, and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving trading environment.
