Electronics Technician Career Opportunity

We are seeking an Electronics Specialist to support our ROV production & support facility in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Department and Innovation Team on product improvement initiatives.

  • ">
  • Electronics assembly works, including electronic assembly, quality control checks during assembly and run series of tests to ensure the reliability of products to meet our standard requirements. ">
  • Hands-on proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, data analyzers, and multimeters for debugging and validation. ">
  • Collaborative mindset to work closely with the Engineering Department and Innovation Team on product improvement initiatives. ">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum Diploma engineering in electronics or equivalent qualification. ">
  • Previous experience as an electronics technician with 1-3 years of experience preferred. ">
  • Strong knowledge and proven ability in electronic troubleshooting at the component, board, and system levels and produce reports. ">
  • Adept at reading and interpreting technical documentation, including PCB schematics, system wiring diagrams, and work instructions. ">
  • Perform PCB and components assembly works and wiring of electronics enclosers, Pods, Consoles, etc. ">
  • Conduct functional tests on the PCB and electronic assemblies and produce Test certificates based on our test procedures. ">
  • Configure Surface and Subsea equipment such as Pilot consoles, Navigation Sensors, IP Cameras, LED lights, and Surface control computers. ">
  • Knowledge in various communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, Ethernet, etc. ">
  • Willingness to work flexibly until tasks are finished if required. ">
  • Aptitude and drive to develop knowledge and acquire new skills. ">
  • Good team player and good communication skills. ">
  • Positive and willing to learn attitude, coupled with the ability to take initiatives. ">
  • Knowledge in building test jigs and writing test code for automated testing (e.g., using Python, LabVIEW, or similar) is a significant advantage. ">
