Job Responsibilities: You need to manage digital content ingest, playlist creation, and scheduling via cinema servers (DCP, TMS/LMS). You need to ensure accurate programming and timely playback of films, trailers, and ads. Able to coordinate delivery, availability, and dispatch of digital film packages (DCPs, KDMs). Operate and monitor digital projection and AV systems for screenings. Able to perform regular equipment checks, basic maintenance, and coordinate repairs. Troubleshoot projection, sound, and automation system issues promptly. You need to set up and operate AV systems for live, VR, and hybrid events. Able to manage signal routing and live video/audio feeds during events. You need to support and operate VR systems, including headsets and sensors. Collaborate with lighting/audio teams for AVL configuration and rehearsals. Ensure technical maintenance, safety checks, and proper calibration of cinema equipment. You need to maintain technical documentation, safety protocols, and inventory records. You need to supervise technical/projection staff and handle roster planning and training. Address staff conduct issues and ensure team discipline. You need to liaise with internal teams and senior management on technical operations and support event coordination. Job Requirements: You must have Diploma or degree in Film Technology, Electronics, AV Engineering, IT, or a related technical field. You must have minimum 3-5 years of experience in cinema projection operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. You must have strong technical knowledge of projection systems and equipment. You must have an experience in operating and maintaining cinema projection equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Familiarity with digital and film projection formats. You must have a leadership and staff supervision skills. Ability to manage schedules, rosters, and maintenance plans. Strong organizational and communication skills. Understanding of workplace discipline and emergency protocols Soft Skills & Attributes: You must have an excellent leadership and team management abilities. You must have strong problem-solving and crisis-handling skills. High attention to detail and presentation standards. You must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure, especially during live screenings or events. Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time and responsibilities independently. Others: Flexibility to work shift hours, weekends, public holidays, and late nights as per screening/event schedules. You must be able to lift heavy objects to handle equipment and technical setups when required. Commitment to maintaining a high standard of audience experience and technical performance.
