Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations . Job Description We are seeking a talented Inside Sales and Contracts Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will drive sales growth by leveraging technical expertise, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities and Outcomes Inside Sales Responsibilities Provide exceptional levels of customer service Respond promptly and accurately to all customer queries within pre‑agreed timescales Produce sales quotations, pre‑qualification documents, technical proposals and any other required information Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction at all times Ensure quotations recorded accurately and timely to maintain departmental KPIs Ensure accuracy of quotations, technical documentation, customer purchase orders and related documents prior to issue to Contracts for booking in Progress/chase outstanding quotations within pre‑agreed timescales and report accordingly Maximise the potential of key accounts and new business with existing and new customers Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems Work under supervision and direction from the Customer Service Manager Contract Engineering Responsibilities Organise provision of diagrams, drawings and plans as required by order conditions Accept and review factory order confirmations, ensuring accuracy of all data Review sales order promise dates and adjust as necessary based on latest information from purchasing, ensuring orders are not late Communicate with factory contacts on delivery issues and, where appropriate, escalate orders to Operations Manager Carry out day‑to‑day purchasing functions Expedite suppliers regularly to ensure on‑time delivery, running delivery performance reports as part of supplier performance evaluation Organise provision of technical schematics, drawings and administrative responses to project contracts and sales orders as required Essential Qualifications Strong customer service experience – typically 3+ years in a relevant role involving basic concepts and procedures Good communication skills, customer‑focused, strong multitasker, good at executing tasks High level of data input accuracy Ability to work independently as part of a wider team Diplomatic skills when dealing with staff, customers and suppliers Sound time‑management and planning skills Self‑motivation, independence and self‑reliance Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and proprietary software systems Clear, effective written and oral English at all levels Experience working as part of a team Knowledge of international business and logistics practices Experience in a contractual environment and understanding of contract law implications Good technical, mechanical and electrical knowledge Knowledge of CAD (e.g., Solid Edge) preferred but not mandatory Experience using ERP systems Diploma/Degree from a recognised university #J-18808-Ljbffr Industry Other Category Engineering Sub Category Technical Sales Engineering
