Role Introduction
Engineering’s role is focused on reassurance, keeping our people and customers safe, ensuring industry-leading performance, and delivering on fleet programmes’ plan, budget, and specifications. Our ambition is to be one of the world’s highest performing, customer-centric, and progressive engineering teams.
The Aircraft Mechanic supports Engineering by performing operational functions that enable our customers to enjoy a safe, reliable, and excellent cabin experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft and third-party customers under supervision of Aircraft Engineer.
Monitor third-party supplier performance, follow up, and rectify operational issues promptly.
Support contingency plans and operational requirements such as diversions, charters, aircraft type changes, and disruption recovery.
Maintain station documentation and ensure compliance.
Service and maintain station ground equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
Manage stock and housekeeping of the aircraft part store.
Perform operational relief duties when required.
Requirements
Qualification/Experience:
High School graduation (Secondary School)
Aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations
Willingness to undergo induction and on-the-job training
