AVL Technician (Audio, Visual and Lighting) - Indoor Attraction

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, which will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on AV and control systems, ensuring proper audio and video signal transmission.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and system upgrades to enhance AV performance and reliability.
  • Set up and operate AV systems for internal and external stakeholder events.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting for AV, electrical, and mechanical issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in AV system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with basic knowledge of AV systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; effective communication with supervisors and team members; attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
  • Physically capable of lifting and installing AV equipment.
  • Certifications in Work at Height and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (e.g., Boom lift, Scissor lift, Aerial Work Platform) are a plus.
